Rappahannock Community College uses RCC Alert to immediately contact you
during a major crisis or emergency. RCC Alert delivers important emergency alerts, notifications and updates to you on all your devices:
- E-mail account (work, home, other)
- Cell phone
- Smartphone/PDA (BlackBerry, Treo & other handhelds)
When an incident or emergency occurs, authorized
senders will instantly notify you using RCC Alert. RCC Alert is your personal connection to real-time updates, instructions on where to go, what to do, or what not to do, who to contact and other important information.
How to modify your alert group memberships in RCC Alert
If you wish to modify your group memberships so that you only receive alerts that are relevant to you, please click here and follow the instructions provided.
Don’t have texting services enabled on your phone? RCC now offers Voice Alerts. Voice alerts are spoken instructions that are sent to your home phone or cell phone. If you do not answer, and have an answering machine, the system will leave a message. You may sign up for this service by clicking here and following the instructions.
How to stop receiving Alerts from RCC
If you are a registered RCC Alert user and no longer wish to receive alerts, please click here for instructions to remove your account.
